Match the exact hood model and existing filter frame before choosing an option. The frame and attachment points matter, as well as width and height.
Follow the instructions for the exact hood and replacement part. Disconnect power as directed before replacement work; use qualified service when the work involves wiring or an uncertain electrical match. Keep labels and the order record for future identification.
A different construction needs a confirmed model-specific fit. Similar outside dimensions do not prove the mounting arrangement or operating compatibility.
Continue to replacement filters, consult K-Star manuals or ask K-Star to identify the part.
